Information and Dates

2012 FZW Baseball Golf Tournament is Saturday, April 21 at Incline Village Golf Course. Tee time is 1:00. Round up your foursome now as space is limited. We are eagerly accepting any and all donations for the tournament. Hole sponsorships are available. We will need many parent golfers and volunteers to make to make the day a success.

Tryouts begin Monday, February 27th after school.

Uniform distribution for all three levels will be Saturday, March 3. Times TBA.

Baseball Banquet will be Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00 in the commons.

Pre-Season Information
The Hitting Zone is open each Sunday night (except for Christmas, New Year's, and Super Bowl Sunday) until tryouts. Players get as many swings as time allows for $5. Freshmen hit from 6-7pm. Sophomores and Varsity hits from 7-8pm.

The Fieldhouse is open for hitting on Thursdays after school from 3:30-5:00. Players can use the facility for $5 (just bring a school ID).

Tryouts
Tryouts begin Monday, February 27th after school. All players must have a physical that they received after February 1, 2011. Players should bring all necessary equipment and be prepared to go outside. Listen to announcements in case of inclement weather and indoor tryout times.

Miscellaneous
Thank you to the Booster Club for their support of the FZW Baseball Program. The Booster Club is purchasing a new net for the tunnel on the upper field. Please help the booster club when you can by volunteering to work the concession stand at other sporting events at West High.
